Christians may disagree about His exact birthdate, nature, or role, but all Christians agree that Jesus, the Christ, is of central importance to the reconciliation and relationship between God and humanity. Most Christians choose to celebrate the birth of the child Jesus on December 25th, Christmas.

There are many ways of celebrating Christmas, from a simple worship service to Nativity plays and the twelve Days of Christmas — Christmas Day to Epiphany. (Epiphany, on January 6, is celebrated as the day of Jesus's baptism.)

Christmas celebrations have also become so interwoven with other traditions and celebrations that Christmas has become a social holiday among many who are not religious Christians.
